Michelle Bruce

Prior to relocating to New Brunswick, Michelle spent 24 years living in a log home in the middle of 100 acres of woods near Algonquin Park and Bancroft area. This nearness to nature facilitated her artistic side and helped her explore her creativity with different art mediums. Over the years she worked with stained glass, mosaics, beading and metalworking.

From 2004 to 2017 she operated an art gallery “Botanical Glassworks & Gallery” in Barrys Bay Ontario showcasing her work as well as the work of numerous other Canadian potters, painters and glass artists. During this time she passed on her love of creating by teaching numerous classes in beading, metalworking and stained glass. She was a member of the Bancroft Studio Tour and participated in various local shows.

Michelle grew up in London, Ontario and has a degree in geology from the university of Western Ontario.
