Elizabeth Cook
Elizabeth is a multidisciplinary artist from Quispamsis, NB. Her artistic foundation was established in the early 2000s through the study of fine art and photography at Mount Allison University and Holland College. Rooted in observation and atmosphere, her evolving practice continues to explore and interpret the natural and built environment through realism, tonalism, and impressionism.
After several years in the UK working as a freelance commercial photographer and graphic designer, Elizabeth returned to Canada in 2010 and settled in Calgary, AB, where she expanded her professional experience to include gallery management.
In 2017, Elizabeth returned to the Maritimes to manage and eventually assume ownership of Handworks Gallery in Saint John, NB.
