Builderburner Ceramics: Alana Wilson

Alana Lea Wilson is the craftsperson behind Builderburner Ceramics. She is a Canadian artist whose bright colorful objects in clay range from functional to sculptural and explore the themes of home, belonging, nostalgia and longing.

She received her MFA in ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2019, and her B.F.A from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University in 2010. Alana has participated in residencies, given lectures and workshops, and exhibited her work across Canada, the United States, and in Australia. She received a Canada Council for the Arts Explore and Create Grant in 2020 and has had work featured in Ceramics Monthly. Alana currently lives in Nauwigewauk, New Brunswick.
