Beth Biggs


Beth Biggs is a goldsmith and silversmith based out of Fredericton, NB. Beth holds a Master of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at New Platz, a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from NSCAD University. In 2003, Beth was decorated with the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal. Exhibiting internationally and receiving numerous awards earned Beth an election to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts in 2006. Her work can be found in the collections of the Nova Scotia Art Bank, Nunavut Arctic College, Her Majesty the Queen of England, former Prime Minister Jean Chretien, Macdonald Stewart Arts Centre, and Nunatta Sunakkutaagint Museum. She taught at NSCAD and Nunavut Arctic College before arriving at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design where she has taught in the Jewellery/Metal Arts Program since 2006.
