Louise Baker

Color, texture and light excite and inspire me.
The endless possibilities that are available in creating art will forever be stimulating.
I like it when people see themselves in my art. Their memories, their inspirations.
Something resonates; the mysterious power of artwork.

I have a degree in Visual Communications from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
My art education comes from many years working as an art director. I have also taken many art workshops from visiting professional and local artists.

I have had numerous solo and many group exhibitions including Teichert Gallery, Visual Voice Gallery,
Neptune Theatre, Amber Rose Gallery and the Lady Luck Gallery.
I am also part of the book; Nova Scotia’s Contemporary Artists’ Volume 2, edited by Dee Appleby.
