Frank McKiel

Frank McKiel Pocologan, NB

For over 50 years, Frank has had a passion for working with wood. From an early age, apprenticing under his grandfather, Frank has made wood working his full time profession for the past 30 years.

Mentored and heavily influenced by famous US chair builder, Sam Maloof, Frank has developed his own style and collection using rare and native woods found in New Brunswick.

Frank keeps to himself at his workshop, enjoying the humid summer months of NB by exclusively mowing grass so long as the sun is shining.
