Embrace the ‘art of tea’ as you experience selected teas and learn to make tea a part of your healthy lifestyle. We will explore the origins, health benefits and how to make a perfect cup of Black, Oolong, Green & White tea.
This Saint John Uptown Hygge event @Handworks, featuring Arlene Wilkinson (Arlene’s Garden), provides an introduction into the world of tea including blending principles for function and taste, and a recipe guide to help create 4 ‘signature tea blends’.

Arlene grew up in southwestern Ontario where her parents raised chickens,
had an acre of land under cultivation and practiced both composting &
recycling before it was a ‘thing’. Arlene has forty years of clinical
experience as a Massage Therapist & Eastern Wellness Practitioner.
Her journey to Arlene’s Garden has been an exploration of plants, herbs
and flowers that are beautiful, aromatic and medicinal in nature. While
Arlene has participated in many herbal workshops and conferences, she
considers herself a self-taught tea maker. Arlene’s Garden Organics
was created in response to requests from clients, family & friends, for natural health solutions.
Arlene’s Garden is a local Saint John, artisanal tea company that sources
premium tea leaves from Fair Trade and Ethical Tea Partnership growers.
We add unique, locally grown organic and wild harvested ingredients to our
tea blends. Arlene’s Garden creates your favourite traditional teas, as well
as, wellness teas to boost nutrition & enhance your healthy lifestyle.
